Job Role: IT Indirect Procurement Lead
Function: Information Technology / Digital Procurement
Reporting to: Matrix reporting to SCM head - Procurement & Head – IT / Chief Digital Officer (TEAL)
Job Details:
The role is responsible for,
- Owning end-to-end IT indirect procurement across hardware, software, licenses, cloud services, AMCs, telecom, cybersecurity, and professional services
- Driving cost optimization, vendor rationalization, and contract governance for IT spends
- Leading RFP/RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and finalization of MSAs, SoWs, and rate cards
- Ensuring compliance with Titan/TEAL procurement policies, audit requirements, and statutory norms
- Partnering with IT, Digital, Cybersecurity, and Business teams to align sourcing with technology roadmaps
- Managing renewals, license compliance, audits, and risk mitigation related to vendors and contracts
- Tracking procurement KPIs, savings, vendor performance, and SLA compliance
External Interfaces:
- OEMs and IT technology vendors
- System Integrators and Service Providers
- Cloud, SaaS, ERP, and Cybersecurity partners
- Consultants, auditors, and legal teams (for contracts)
Internal Interfaces:
- IT Infrastructure, Applications, SAP, Analytics, and Digital teams
- Corporate & Unit Procurement
- Finance, Legal, Internal Audit
- Business heads and project sponsors
Education:
- BE / BTech (IT / Computers / Electronics)
- MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain / Operations / Procurement (preferred)
Relevant Experience:
- 8–12 years of experience in IT indirect procurement or IT sourcing
- Strong exposure to software licensing (SAP, SaaS, OEMs), IT infrastructure, and services contracts
- Experience working with manufacturing / engineering organizations preferred
- Hands-on experience in commercial negotiations, contract structuring, and cost optimization
