Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Electrical Maintenance Management
- Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure continuous operation of electrical equipment and utilities.
- Reduce equipment downtime through effective maintenance planning.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians, and electricians.
- Allocate daily work and monitor team performance.
- Train and develop maintenance personnel on safety and technical skills.
3. Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain electrical panels, transformers, switchgears, motors, generators, UPS systems, compressors, and plant utilities.
- Ensure proper functioning of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
4. Preventive Maintenance
- Develop annual and monthly preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain maintenance records and equipment history.
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and safe work practices.
6. Utility Management
- Monitor electricity consumption and optimize energy usage.
- Manage DG sets, transformers, power distribution systems, and compressed air systems.
- Coordinate with electricity board officials for power-related issues.
7. Project Management
- Plan and execute electrical installations and expansion projects.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during project execution.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule.
8. Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare maintenance budgets.
- Control maintenance costs without affecting equipment reliability.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and procurement.
9. Vendor Management
- Identify and evaluate electrical service providers.
- Negotiate Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
- Ensure timely procurement of electrical components and spares.
10. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain electrical drawings, SOPs, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
- Prepare monthly maintenance and downtime reports.
- Track KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and equipment availability.
11. Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and 5S activities.
- Improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of power distribution, transformers, and HT/LT systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and statutory compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Experience: 8–15 years in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in automotive, sheet metal, stamping, or manufacturing industries.

Pay: ₹22,322.68 - ₹74,550.62 per month
