JOB DESCRIPTION – SR. ACCOUNTANT
Position: Senior Accountant

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA
Location: waghodiya GIDC, Vadodara
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting activities and independently handle the Accounts Department. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and manage the Accounts Department and day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and perform bank transactions.
- Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Manage purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and customers.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Support monthly closing, balance sheet, and P&L preparation.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting records.
- Handle Tally / ERP and MS Excel for accounting activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting & Finance
- Good knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Good knowledge of GST & TDS
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation
- Knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to independently manage the Accounts Department
Preferred Candidate
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter qualified or pursuing
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial company will be preferred.
- Candidates who can independently handle accounting operations will be given preference.
