Job Summary
We are looking for an AI & Business Process Automation Specialist to identify automation opportunities across manufacturing operations and implement AI-powered business solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes along with hands-on experience in Agentic AI, RAG, and enterprise system integrations.
The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Production, Inventory Management, Cost Control, and other business teams to analyze processes, design AI workflows, integrate enterprise systems, and improve operational efficiency through AI automation.
Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing and business processes to identify automation opportunities.
Design and implement Agentic AI workflows for business operations.
Build AI solutions using RAG architectures connected to enterprise knowledge and ERP data.
Integrate AI solutions with ERP systems (Infor LN preferred), Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, email workflows, and other enterprise platforms using APIs, webhooks, connectors, and MCP.
Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Production, Inventory Management, and Cost Control teams to understand business requirements.
Validate AI outputs based on manufacturing business rules and establish AI governance, audit trails, and explainability standards.
Prioritize automation initiatives based on business impact and implementation feasibility.
Continuously improve AI agents by monitoring performance and user feedback.
Conduct workshops, user training, demonstrations, and support AI adoption across departments.
Report project progress and business outcomes to management.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Master's degree (MBA or M.Tech) is an advantage but not mandatory.
AI/ML certifications or self-learning experience are preferred.
Experience
3–8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or industrial business processes.
Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 of the following:
oEngineering
oPlanning
oInventory Management
oProcurement
oProduction
oCost Control
Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (Infor LN preferred; SAP or Oracle acceptable).
Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Hands-on experience implementing Agentic AI workflows, RAG solutions, or enterprise AI integration projects.
Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, and automation workflows.
Proven track record of delivering process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
