Pan Asian Chef
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pan Asian Chef with expertise in preparing authentic and contemporary Asian cuisine. The ideal candidate should have experience in cuisines such as Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, or other Asian specialties. The chef will be responsible for maintaining high food quality, kitchen hygiene, and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Pan Asian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Plan and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen sanitation.
- Monitor food inventory and place requisitions for kitchen supplies.
- Minimize food wastage through proper storage and inventory management.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff when required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pan Asian Chef in a hotel, fine dining restaurant, or premium café.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, or other Asian cuisines.
- Ability to prepare sauces, broths, sushi (preferred), stir-fries, noodles, dim sum, curries, and grilled dishes.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent knife skills and kitchen organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Culinary certification is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
