AI Operations Intern / AI Generalist — AI5 Academy
Location: Delhi NCR candidates only

About the Role
AI5 Academy is looking for one or two highly AI-focused fresh graduates who don't just know about AI tools but use them every day.
This is NOT a conventional HR internship, social media internship, counselling role or administrative position.
We are looking for an AI Generalist — someone who enjoys testing new AI tools, understands how different AI platforms are used, can learn new systems quickly and wants to build a career around AI.
You may be a fresh graduate. We care much more about what you can actually do with AI than the number of years on your CV.
The role will work across AI5 Academy's academic operations, trainer hiring, student enquiries, course management, AI research and social media.
What You Will Work On
Your responsibilities will include:
- Shortlisting AI trainers and subject specialists for different AI5 Academy courses
- Screening candidates and checking whether their claimed AI skills are genuine
- Coordinating trainer interviews, demos and selection
- Assigning trainers to upcoming classes
- Coordinating class schedules and helping manage ongoing batches
- Speaking with prospective students interested in AI5 Academy courses
- Understanding their requirements and helping them identify suitable programmes
- Reviewing and maintaining AI course syllabi
- Researching new AI tools, models and workflows that should be added to our programmes
- Keeping course tool stacks current as the AI market changes
- Helping manage AI5 Academy's social media presence
- Using AI for content ideas, research, scripts, posts, videos and other marketing activities
- Testing new AI platforms and finding practical ways to use them within AI5 Academy
- Supporting day-to-day academic and business operations wherever AI can make the work faster or better
The AI Knowledge We Expect
You don't need to know every tool listed below, but you should already be a regular user of several AI platforms and be very comfortable learning the rest.
We would particularly like candidates familiar with areas such as:
General AI & Research
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and similar AI assistants
AI Image & Design
GPT Image, Gemini image generation, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, OpenArt or similar tools
AI Video
Google Veo / Flow, Runway, Kling, Seedance, Higgsfield, HeyGen or similar platforms
AI Voice & Audio
ElevenLabs and other AI voice, speech, music or audio platforms
AI Automation & Agents
n8n, Make, Zapier, AI agents, custom GPTs, workflow automation and similar systems
AI Productivity
AI-assisted documents, spreadsheets, presentations, research, data analysis and content workflows
You are NOT expected to be a programmer or machine-learning engineer.
We are looking for someone who understands how to use AI across different kinds of work.
What Will Make You Stand Out
We would love to meet candidates who:
- Experiment with new AI tools without waiting for someone to teach them
- Follow AI product launches and model updates
- Have subscriptions/accounts across several AI platforms
- Have built AI workflows, agents, videos, images, automations or personal projects
- Can compare different AI models and know which one to use for a particular task
- Can quickly research an unfamiliar AI subject and understand it
- Are comfortable speaking to trainers, students and prospective candidates
- Can organise multiple tasks without constant supervision
- Write excellent English
- Speak confidently and professionally in English
- Are curious about building their long-term career in AI
Communication Requirement
Excellent written and spoken communication is mandatory.
This position involves communication with prospective students, trainers, job applicants and the internal team.
If you are technically good with AI but cannot communicate clearly and professionally, this role may not be suitable.
Who Should NOT Apply

- Your AI experience is limited to occasionally using ChatGPT
- You have only completed an AI certificate but rarely use AI tools yourself
- You are looking only for an HR, social media or administrative internship
- You are uncomfortable speaking with prospective students
- You are not interested in continuously learning new AI tools
- You require step-by-step instructions for every new task
- You are looking for a part-time assignment
- You are currently based outside Delhi NCR
Education
Fresh graduates from any discipline may apply.
Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Management, Commerce and related backgrounds are welcome, but your degree is less important to us than your practical AI ability.
Final-year students should apply only if they can commit to full-time working hours.
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time position, not a casual internship.
You will primarily work from home but will normally be required to work from our Delhi NCR office one day per week for meetings, coordination, training or other activities.
Therefore, applications are currently restricted to candidates based in Delhi NCR.
There is room to take on larger responsibilities as AI5 Academy grows. Candidates who perform well can move towards roles involving AI operations, programme management, AI research, academic management, marketing or business operations.

We will shortlist candidates primarily on the quality and specificity of these answers rather than simply on academic qualifications.
