Vice Principal – Pre-Primary Department: Early Years / Pre-Primary Education

The Vice Principal – Pre-Primary is a senior leadership role responsible for the complete academic, operational, and developmental oversight of the Pre-Primary segment (Nursery, LKG, UKG). The role works directly under the Principal and ensures high-quality implementation of early childhood education practices, teacher performance management, curriculum execution, and overall child development outcomes. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in early childhood education, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to build a nurturing, structured, and high-performing Pre-Primary ecosystem
1-Teacher Leadership & Team Management Lead Mother Teachers and Associate Teachers in Pre-Primary segment. Conduct regular classroom observations and provide structured feedback. Mentor teachers in early childhood pedagogy, classroom management, and child psychology. Organize training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions. Ensure high standards of teaching quality, discipline, and classroom engagement.
2 .Curriculum Planning & Execution Design and review academic plans, thematic curriculum, and activity calendars. Ensure integration of play-based, experiential, and activity-oriented learning. Monitor syllabus completion and adherence to academic timelines. Ensure alignment of curriculum with CBSE and NEP foundational stage guidelines. Innovate and continuously improve early learning methodologies.\
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (mandatory). Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECCE / NTT / Montessori / D.El.Ed preferred or mandatory as per norms). B.Ed. (Early Childhood / Primary Education) will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 6–12 years of experience in Pre-Primary or Early Childhood Education. At least 3–5 years of experience in leadership roles such as Pre-Primary Coordinator / Head / Academic Lead. Experience in CBSE or structured early learning systems preferred. Strong exposure to NEP 2020 foundational stage implementation.
