Production Engineer – CNC Machining
Location: Ludhiana, Punjab
Experience: 3–7 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. – Mechanical
Job Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day CNC/VMC machining production and achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor machine productivity, utilization, cycle time, rejection and rework.
- Manage CNC machine setting, tooling, fixtures and process parameters.
- Allocate manpower and ensure smooth shop-floor operations.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room and Stores.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Identify production issues, bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Focus on productivity improvement, cycle-time reduction and machine utilization.
- Maintain production reports and shift-wise performance data.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety, SOPs and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes.
- Knowledge of CNC turning, milling, drilling and tapping.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, gauges and tool selection.
- Basic knowledge of CNC setting and offset correction.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Good communication and shop-floor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
Preferred Industry: Forging, Casting, Automotive, Auto Components or Engineering Manufacturing.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
