We are looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer with strong E-commerce experience to create intuitive, visually engaging, and conversion-focused digital shopping experiences.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with proven experience designing and optimizing E-commerce websites, product detail pages (PDPs), category/listing pages, landing pages, checkout journeys, and mobile-first shopping experiences.
You will work closely with Product, E-commerce, Marketing, Development, and Creative teams to transform business requirements, customer insights, and performance data into scalable and user-friendly digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and continuously improve E-commerce user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Create high-quality wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and production-ready UI designs using Figma.
- Design and optimize key E-commerce experiences including Homepage, PLP/Category Pages, PDPs, Cart, Checkout, Search, Navigation, Cross-selling, Upselling, and Landing Pages.
- Develop mobile-first and responsive designs with strong attention to usability and accessibility.
- Identify UX friction points across the customer journey and propose practical design improvements.
- Apply E-commerce UX and CRO principles to improve product discovery, engagement, add-to-cart rate, and conversion.
- Use customer behaviour, analytics, heatmaps, A/B testing insights, and business requirements to support design decisions.
- Create and maintain reusable design systems, UI components, patterns, and design guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
- Conduct design reviews and maintain consistency across different pages, products, categories, and markets.
- Benchmark competitor and industry-leading E-commerce experiences and translate relevant insights into actionable improvements.
- Balance brand consistency, visual quality, usability, technical feasibility, and commercial performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX or Product Design experience.
- Strong hands-on experience designing E-commerce websites and online shopping journeys.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, prototyping, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, interaction design, responsive design, and mobile-first design.
- Good understanding of E-commerce conversion optimization (CRO) and customer journey optimization.
- Experience designing complex PDP, PLP, navigation, search, cart, and checkout experiences.
- Ability to translate requirements and data insights into clear UX solutions.
- Strong visual design skills covering typography, hierarchy, spacing, grids, imagery, and component consistency.
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Developers, Marketing, and E-commerce teams.
- Ability to manage multiple design requirements while maintaining quality and consistency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Shopware, or similar E-commerce platforms.
- Experience with international or multi-market E-commerce websites.
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation workflows.
- Familiarity with analytics and behavioural tools such as GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar platforms.
- Experience designing E-commerce experiences for both desktop and mobile users.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development constraints is an advantage.
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates should provide a portfolio demonstrating real E-commerce UI/UX projects, preferably including PDPs, PLPs, mobile shopping experiences, checkout flows, design systems, and examples showing how their design decisions improved the customer experience or business performance.
We are looking for someone who can go beyond creating visually attractive interfaces and design high-performing E-commerce experiences that are intuitive, scalable, customer-focused, and conversion-driven.
