Position: Head Chef
Department: Food & Beverage (Kitchen)
Reports To: General Manager / Executive Director
Job Location : Hanamkonda, Warangal
Job Purpose:
The Head Chef is responsible for managing the kitchen, preparing high-quality food, leading the kitchen team, controlling food costs, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure timely food preparation.
* Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
* Plan daily production based on business requirements.
* Prepare inventory requirements, coordinate with the Inventory Manager, and ensure all supplies are received correctly.
* Monitor stock levels, control food wastage, and follow FIFO for inventory management.
* Ensure the kitchen, equipment, and staff maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI guidelines.
* Train, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team while maintaining discipline and duty schedules.
* Plan and update menus, introduce new dishes, and support food promotions.
* Coordinate with Restaurant, Banquet, Room Service, Purchase, and Housekeeping teams for smooth operations.
* Handle guest feedback professionally and take immediate corrective action when required.
Skills Required
* Good knowledge of Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, and Continental cuisine.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Basic knowledge of food costing and inventory.
* Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Qualification
* Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
* Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
Experience
* 5–8 years of kitchen experience.
* Minimum 2 years as a Head Chef or Sous Chef.

* Control food costs and minimize wastage.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen.
* Lead the kitchen team efficiently.
* Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and follow all hotel standards.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
