The Assistant Drone Pilot supports the Drone Pilot in flight operations, equipment setup, maintenance, battery management, documentation, and field execution while ensuring safe drone operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drone setup before each mission.
- Help perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Monitor batteries and charging cycles.
- Assist with take-off and landing operations.
- Maintain flight logs and project documentation.
- Support payload installation and calibration.
- Handle drone transportation and storage.
- Coordinate with field staff and clients.
- Assist in troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma/Bachelor's degree.
- DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate preferred.
- Freshers with drone training may also apply.
Experience
- 0–2 years.
- Internship or training in drone operations preferred.
