Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Faculty to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training in fashion design, guiding students through projects, and supporting their overall creative and technical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging theory and practical sessions in Fashion Design.
- Teach subjects such as Fashion Illustration, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Draping, Textile Studies, and Fashion Styling.
- Guide students in developing fashion collections and design projects.
- Demonstrate garment construction, stitching, cutting, and finishing techniques.
- Mentor students in creating portfolios and fashion presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and practical work.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, techniques, and industry practices.
- Organize workshops, exhibitions, fashion shows, and other academic activities.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve course delivery and student outcomes.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Fashion Design and Garment Construction.
- Knowledge of Pattern Making, Draping, Fashion Illustration, and Textiles.
- Good understanding of current fashion trends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Creative mindset with good attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor and motivate students.
- Basic knowledge of fashion design software is an added advantage.
