We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Site Engineer (Civil) to join our team for the execution of Sewerage Network and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, quality control, surveying, and ensuring smooth progress of underground sewerage pipelines, manholes, pumping stations, and STP civil works. Proficiency in Auto Level for accurate levelling and surveying is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute civil works related to sewerage network including laying of RCC/HDPE/DI sewer pipes, construction of manholes, drop manholes, vent shafts, and house connections.
- Oversee civil construction activities of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) such as SBR/ASP/MBBR units, inlet works, clarifiers, aeration tanks, sludge handling units, pump houses, and administrative buildings.
- Perform daily levelling and surveying using Auto Level for setting out pipelines, checking invert levels, bed levels, formation levels, and ensuring proper slopes/gradients as per approved drawings.
- Conduct joint inspections, prepare level sheets, longitudinal sections (L-Sections), and cross-sections of sewer lines.
- Ensure all underground works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, CPHEEO guidelines, and relevant IS codes.
- Monitor and maintain quality control at site – conduct cube tests, material testing, alignment checks, and hydraulic testing of pipelines.
- Prepare daily progress reports, measurement records, RFIs, and billing quantities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and client engineers for inspections and approvals.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues related to levels, alignment, dewatering, shoring, and safety.
- Maintain site records, as-built drawings, and test reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental norms, and project timelines.
Mandatory Skill:
- Hands-on experience in operating Auto Level (Levelling Instrument) for construction of sewerage networks and STP.
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
