A staff nurse provides direct patient care, administers treatments and medications, monitors patient progress, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities :-
Staff nurses are responsible for a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks, including:
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conducting patient assessments, recording medical histories, and developing or modifying nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Medication and Treatment Administration: Administering prescribed medications, monitoring for side effects, and providing treatments such as wound care or injections
- Monitoring and Documentation: Recording vital signs, patient progress, and medical information accurately; maintaining detailed reports and electronic health records
- Medical Procedures and Equipment: Operating and monitoring medical equipment, assisting with diagnostic tests, and providing pre- and post-operative care
- Patient Education and Support: Educating patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care; offering emotional support and guidance
- Collaboration and Supervision: Coordinating with doctors, specialists, and other nurses; supervising junior nursing staff when required
- Emergency and Critical Care: Assisting in emergency procedures, critical care, and responding to urgent medical situations
- Health and Safety Compliance: Following sanitation, decontamination, and safety protocols; ensuring a clean and safe environment for patient.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
