Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher( B.Sc or M.Sc in either Physics / Chemistry with B.Ed degree)to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Physics or Chemistry and education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality physics instruction, developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and inspiring a love for science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver well-structured physics / chemistry lessons that align with the curriculum.
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate practical experiments, demonstrations, and multimedia resources.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific inquiry among students.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Provide individualized support to students who need additional help.
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physics and incorporate them into lessons.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve teaching methodologies.
- Participate in school activities, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Master’s in Physics / Chemistry with B.Ed degree is a mandate.
- Certification: Teaching certification or license (if required by the institution).
- Experience: Previous teaching experience is preferred for primary(Classes- 1 - 5) or middle sections(6-18) but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of physics / chemistry concepts and the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use modern teaching tools and technology effectively.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with laboratory work and conducting experiments.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and educational software.
- Ability to teach interdisciplinary subjects related to Physics / Chemistry
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
