Mobile Application Developer Intern — Nextroy Dynamics Private Limited, Hyderabad
We’re seeking a Mobile Application Developer Intern to build and maintain mobile apps and demo clients that support our robotics, AI/ML, and drone courses. You’ll implement mobile features, integrate with backend services and models, and optimize apps for user experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS using native (Kotlin/Java, Swift) or cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native).
- Implement UI screens, navigation flows, platform-specific integrations (camera, sensors, GPS) and in-app features for course demos and student tools.
- Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs, WebSocket/real-time telemetry, and AI/ML model endpoints; handle authentication and secure data transfer.
- Work on streaming or processing sensor and camera data for real-time demos and model-in-loop features.
- Optimize app performance, memory use, and battery impact; implement offline support and efficient data sync.
- Write unit and integration tests, and follow CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds and distribution (Play Store, TestFlight).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces and responsive layouts across device sizes.
- Debug, profile, and fix issues across devices and OS versions; maintain clear documentation and release notes.
- Assist in preparing demo builds for workshops, classes, and external presentations.
- Follow coding standards, use version control (Git), and participate in code reviews.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BSc in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 0–1 year internship experience or strong project/portfolio work in mobile app development.
- Proficiency in one or more mobile development technologies: Flutter, React Native, Kotlin/Java (Android), or Swift (iOS).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, local storage solutions (SQLite, Room, SharedPreferences), and basic networking.
- Familiarity with integrating device sensors, camera APIs, and handling media streams is a plus.
- Understanding of app lifecycle, threading/concurrency, and performance optimization techniques.
- Comfortable with Git, debugging tools, and build systems (Gradle, Xcode build).
- Good communication in English, Hindi, and/or Telugu; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to UX details, and eagerness to learn mobile-first product development.
- Available for 6-day shifts (9 AM - 6 PM) or flexible hours for students.
