- Research & Preparation: Thoroughly research background information on current events, trends, and show topics prior to broadcasting. [1, 2]
- Audience Engagement: Interact with live audiences in the studio and respond to viewer feedback or questions via social media and call-in segments. [1, 2]
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. [1, 2]
- Experience: Proven on-camera experience as a reporter, news anchor, or host in the media industry. [1]
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication, public speaking skills, and the ability to project a charismatic, broadly appealing on-screen persona. [1, 2]
- Technical Familiarity: A basic understanding of television production, video editing software, and broadcast regulations. [1, 2]
