Warehouse Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment as per customer requirements and SLAs.
- Monitor daily operational performance and implement process improvements.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow efficiency.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records through Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and physical inventory verification.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure FIFO, FEFO, and inventory control procedures are followed.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse supervisors, executives, and associates.
- Develop team performance through coaching and regular feedback.
- Manage manpower planning, shift scheduling, attendance, and productivity.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Client & Customer Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding warehouse operations.
- Ensure customer KPIs and contractual obligations are met.
- Prepare and present operational reports to clients and management.
- Handle escalations and implement corrective actions.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and warehouse safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, and other applicable compliance requirements.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain incident records.
Performance & Cost Management
- Monitor operational KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order accuracy, productivity, turnaround time, and on-time dispatch.
- Control warehouse operating costs and improve resource utilization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean warehouse practices.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, dispatches, manpower, and client performance metrics.
- Analyze operational data and provide recommendations for improvement.
