- Oversee daily factory operations with a firm, command-and-control management approach.
- Enforce strict discipline, individual accountability, and corporate values across all tiers of the plant.
- Direct, monitor, and scale production lines to consistently meet or exceed business targets.
- Implement Lean methodologies and process optimization to eliminate waste. Balance high productivity with cost-effectiveness to maximize plant yield and output.
- Proactively audit, identify, and eliminate operational leakages across finance, materials, and manpower.
- Design and implement practical, data-driven solutions to optimize resource utilization.
- Manage operational budgets, control overhead costs, and drive factory profitability metrics.
- Establish a robust security protocol and safety culture by organizing regular safety drills and proactive risk assessments.
- Take swift executive decisions during operational challenges, industrial emergencies, or crises.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and contingency plans for all critical operations.
- Uphold stringent quality control standards across all product lines to ensure zero defects.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory labor laws, environmental regulations, and factory safety codes.
- Mentor, inspire, and motivate factory staff to maintain high morale and peak performance.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline by training and upskilling supervisors and mid-level managers.
- Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex client complaints, ensuring swift resolution.
- Enhance client retention and satisfaction by ensuring reliable, on-time service delivery.
- Represent the factory during external audits, government inspections, and high-level stakeholder meetings.
- Bridge the gap between corporate headquarters and site teams through daily operational coordination.
- Provide comprehensive, data-backed reports on plant performance, KPIs, and financials to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications & Requirements Background:
- Senior Retired Officer from the Armed Forces (Army/Navy/Air Force) holding the rank of Lt. Colonel or Colonel (or equivalent).
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (with relevant military leadership/operations training).
- Experience: Experience in commanding large units, managing logistics, supply chain, material management, security, or administrative operations.
- Corporate factory management experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Core Skills: Exceptional command-and-control leadership, crisis management, absolute financial integrity, loss/leakage prevention, and excellent strategic planning.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
