Job Title: AC Technician / HVAC Technician

Job Summary
The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and HVAC systems within the hotel premises. The role ensures uninterrupted operation of HVAC equipment to maintain guest comfort, safety, and operational efficiency while adhering to hotel standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split ACs, VRF systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment and maintain operating efficiency.
- Attend guest room and public area complaints related to air conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Monitor temperature and humidity levels in guest rooms, banquet halls, restaurants, kitchens, and other hotel areas.
- Carry out refrigerant charging, leak detection, and system testing as required.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, and engineering procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance work.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Assist in energy conservation initiatives and recommend measures to improve HVAC efficiency.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform shift duties as assigned.
- Support general maintenance activities when required by the Engineering Department.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- HVAC certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an AC Technician/HVAC Technician in a 4-Star or 5-Star hotel, resort, commercial building, or hospitality environment.
- Experience with chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, and refrigeration equipment preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration cycles.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence.
Working Conditions

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
