Qualification
- Master of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) registration (mandatory).
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or ENT clinic.
- Experience in audiological evaluation, hearing aid services, and speech-language therapy is preferred.
Job ResponsibilitiesAudiology Services
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Impedance Audiometry, OAE, BERA/ABR (if trained), and other diagnostic hearing evaluations.
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss and rehabilitation.
- Recommend, fit, and verify hearing aids and provide follow-up services.
- Maintain audiology equipment and ensure quality standards.
Speech & Language Services
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on patient needs.
- Conduct speech therapy sessions for children and adults.
- Educate caregivers on home-based therapy programs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and therapy records.
- Coordinate with ENT consultants and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in newborn hearing screening and rehabilitation programs when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and quality standards.
- Assist in community awareness programs, health camps, and patient education initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care.
Skills Required
- Strong clinical knowledge in audiology and speech-language pathology.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Good documentation and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS) is desirable.

- Senior ENT Consultant / Medical Superintendent / Head of Department (ENT)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- MASLP with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid RCI registration.
- Experience in hearing aid fitting, speech therapy, and ENT-based clinical practice will be an added advantage. Typical hospital ASLP roles include hearing assessments, rehabilitation, patient counselling, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
