Position Overview
We are looking for a 3D Full-Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Three.js and modern frontend development, along with working experience in React.js, Node.js, PHP, APIs, databases, AWS, and AI integrations.
The role focuses on building interactive 3D product configurators and customization platforms, particularly for sportswear/apparel and product-based applications.
This is not a frontend-only position. Candidates must be comfortable working with frontend/3D as well as backend APIs, databases, cloud services, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance 3D web applications and product configurators using Three.js.
- Build interactive product customization experiences using React.js / React Three Fiber.
- Work with GLTF/GLB, WebGL, PBR materials, textures, lighting, animations, and shaders.
- Integrate 3D applications with PHP and Node.js backend APIs and databases.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and work with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Work with product configurations, variants, kits, designs, customer artwork, and digital product workflows.
- Optimize 3D models, assets, rendering performance, loading times, and browser performance.
- Work with AWS services, particularly S3, EC2, CloudFront, and RDS.
- Integrate AI APIs/models into web applications and assist with prompt engineering and AI workflow integration.
- Debug issues across 3D, frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, 3D artists, backend developers, and project managers.
Required Skills
Core – 3D / Frontend
- Strong hands-on experience with Three.js.
- Strong JavaScript knowledge; TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with React.js.
- Knowledge of React Three Fiber is preferred.
- Good understanding of WebGL and 3D rendering.
- Experience with GLTF/GLB, materials, textures, lighting, cameras, and animations.
Backend
- Working experience with Node.js and REST APIs.
- Good working knowledge of PHP / PHP frameworks.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Ability to integrate frontend/3D applications with backend systems.
Cloud & Other
- Working knowledge of AWS, especially S3, EC2, CloudFront, and RDS.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Basic understanding of AI APIs and prompt engineering is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- 3D product configurators or customization platforms.
- Sportswear, apparel, manufacturing, or e-commerce applications.
- Blender and 3D asset optimization.
- WebGPU, WebXR/AR/VR.
- Experience working with large 3D asset libraries and product variants.
- Experience integrating AI into web applications.
Important
Three.js / 3D frontend development is the core requirement, but this is a full-stack role. Candidates with frontend-only experience should not apply. The candidate should be comfortable working across 3D frontend, React, Node.js/PHP APIs, databases, AWS, and integrations.
