About the Role
The Hotel School, Delhi is looking for an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Service Faculty to train and mentor students aspiring to build careers in the hospitality industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience in Food & Beverage Service at a supervisory or team-leader level, along with an ability to effectively transfer industry knowledge to students through engaging classroom teaching, practical demonstrations, and real-world simulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging theory and practical classes in Food & Beverage Service.
- Train students in restaurant operations, service etiquette, guest handling, and professional service standards.
- Provide practical training in:
- Mise en place and mise en scène
- Various styles of food service
- Buffet operations
- Fine dining service
- Restaurant setup and operations
- Beverage service and basic beverage knowledge
- Guest relations and complaint handling
- Conduct practical demonstrations and industry-oriented simulations in F&B laboratories.
- Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, assignments, and skill evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and competency development.
- Prepare students for hospitality placements through grooming, communication, service skills, and interview-readiness training.
- Contribute to curriculum development, lesson planning, and academic activities.
- Maintain high standards of laboratory hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and equipment handling.
- Keep students updated with current hospitality industry practices and service trends.
- Mentor students and support their overall professional development.
Eligibility & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on F&B Service experience at a supervisory, team-leader, or equivalent level.
- Experience in reputed hotels, restaurants, resorts, clubs, or hospitality establishments preferred.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience will be an advantage.

- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
