Job description:
An IBC Manager (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code Manager) oversees corporate restructuring, liquidation processes, and asset resolution under insolvency laws. [1]Key Responsibilities
- Insolvency Proceedings: Manage end-to-end Corporate Insolvency Resolution Processes (CIRP), liquidation, and voluntary liquidation cases.
- Claims Management: Verify creditor claims, review financial records, and maintain updated asset listings.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Participate in Committee of Creditors (CoC) meetings and coordinate with legal advisors, valuers, and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
- Resolution Plans: Review financial models, help draft information memorandums, and evaluate resolution plans from applicants.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory timelines and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost Accountant (CMA), or an MBA in Finance.
- Experience: Generally 3 to 6 years of transactional experience in insolvency, corporate restructuring, audit, or legal recovery practices.
- Core Skills: Strong financial modeling, legal drafting, analytical capabilities, and deep knowledge of NCLT procedures.
