Patient Care & Clinical Supervision
Conduct initial patient assessment, history taking, and clinical evaluation before
diagnostic procedures.
Ensure fitness assessment for procedures involving contrast administration (CT, MRI,
PET-CT).
Monitor patients during and after imaging procedures for any adverse reactions.
Provide emergency medical management (including BLS/ACLS support) in case of
contrast reactions, syncope, seizures, or other emergencies.
Support radiologists during procedures requiring medical supervision.
Radiology & Diagnostic Support
Review clinical indications, lab values, and safety protocols before CT/MRI scans.
Ensure patient preparation (NPO/fasting status, renal function checks, allergy history,
etc.).
Administer contrast media/injections under supervision and manage any
complications.
Coordinate with radiology technicians for smooth workflow and timely patient
handling.
Laboratory & Cross-functional Coordination
Verify test requisitions and review clinical history for relevant lab investigations.
Support the lab team in case of clinically significant critical values (e.g., abnormal
sugar, electrolytes, renal function).
Inform and escalate critical lab findings to consultants in a timely manner.
Ensure safe phlebotomy and sample collection practices when required.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain proper patient records, consent forms, and incident reports.
Ensure adherence quality and safety protocols.
Monitor infection control, patient safety, and biomedical waste management practices.
Participate in audits, training programs, and departmental quality initiatives.
Teamwork & Communication
Coordinate with consultants, radiologists, lab technologists, and nursing staff for
seamless patient flow.
Communicate effectively with patients and relatives about procedures, precautions,
and follow-ups.
Participate in clinical meetings, emergency drills, and quality improvement activities.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
