Job Summary
The Workshop Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all workshop activities to ensure repairs, maintenance, and production work are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The role includes managing technicians, maintaining equipment, controlling inventory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the workshop.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate workshop technicians and support staff.
- Plan and allocate work to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed.
- Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment in good working condition.
- Manage spare parts, materials, and inventory levels.
- Prepare work schedules and monitor employee productivity.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and other departments.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues and customer complaints.
- Monitor workshop costs and support budget control.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate service records.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of workshop or maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of workshop operations and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in workshop management software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driving license (if required).

Pay: ₹35,440.96 - ₹57,386.23 per month
