Assistant Manager—Video & Motion Graphics Designer

The work you’ll do
- Create and deliver high-quality video and motion graphics assets for websites, mobile, social media, digital advertising, presentations, and internal communications.
- Translate briefs and scripts into effective visual concepts, storyboards, and motion design solutions aligned with brand guidelines and audience needs.
- Edit video, create motion graphics, refine sound, and apply visual effects to produce polished final deliverables.
- Edit, synchronize, and integrate music, voiceovers, sound effects, and ambient audio into motion graphic and video projects.
- Partner with producers, marketers, and creative leads to ensure work is strategically aligned and delivered on time.
- Turn raw footage and source assets into engaging content through editing, color correction, transitions, effects, and motion integration.
- Adapt and optimize video and motion assets across channels and formats while maintaining visual consistency.
- Contribute ideas during concept development and creative reviews, bringing awareness of current motion design trends, tools, and digital formats.
- Manage assigned deliverables independently, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and quality review for junior motion designers and editors.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Film Production, Multimedia, Animation,
or a related field.
- 6–9 years of hands-on experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve and industry-standard AI tools.
- Working knowledge of Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools for incorporating 3D elements into motion work.
- Experience with industry-standard plugins and tools such as Maxon, Element 3D, or comparable creative extensions.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to interpret briefs to conceptualize and create visually compelling storyboards.
- Good understanding of pacing, composition, typography, transitions, and brand-led visual communication.
- Ability to balance creativity with delivery timelines, quality expectations, and business needs.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video and motion design work across digital formats.
Preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced agency, studio, or in-house brand environment with expertise in designing for social, digital, or presentation-based formats.
- Professional coursework or certification in motion design, editing, or compositing.
