About the Role
Viral Scale AI is looking for a highly creative AI Video Editor / Video Creator who can produce realistic, scroll-stopping social media videos.
This is not a traditional video-editing role. We are looking for someone who understands AI video generation, strong prompting and modern short-form content, particularly realistic UGC-style videos that feel natural, authentic and believable.
Our priority is content that looks like it could have been filmed by a real creator on their phone, while still being professionally produced and engaging enough to stop people scrolling.

What You'll Be Creating
You will be responsible for producing short-form videos for Viral Scale AI and our clients, including:
- Realistic UGC-style AI videos
- AI avatar and AI actor content
- Talking-head and spokesperson-style videos
- Lifestyle and social-first content
- Realistic scenes generated using AI
- Strong hooks designed to grab attention immediately
- TikTok, Instagram Reels and other vertical short-form content
- Videos that feel native to social media rather than traditional advertisements
The goal is always the same: the viewer should feel like they are watching real, engaging social content — not an obvious AI-generated video or generic advert.
AI & Prompting Skills
We make extensive use of Higgsfield and other AI video-generation tools, so strong prompting ability is essential.
You should be able to:
- Write detailed, effective AI video prompts
- Create realistic human movement and behaviour
- Prompt for natural facial expressions, gestures and environments
- Control camera angles, movement, lighting and composition
- Maintain character and visual consistency between scenes
- Identify and correct obvious AI artefacts
- Understand what makes AI-generated footage look believable rather than artificial
- Take a creative concept or brief and turn it into a finished social video
Experience with Higgsfield is strongly preferred. Experience with other leading AI video, image, voice and editing tools is also valuable.
Editing Skills
You must have a strong understanding of short-form video editing, including:
- Pacing and retention
- Hooks
- Storytelling
- Cuts and transitions
- Sound design
- Music
- Captions and on-screen text
- Voiceovers
- Colour and visual consistency
- Creating a professional final result from AI-generated assets
We care much more about the quality of your finished videos than which traditional editing software you use.
KPI & Performance Expectations
Your core KPI will be:
8 APPROVED VIDEOS PER MONTH
An approved video is a video that has passed our internal review and is considered ready to publish or deliver to a client.
Simply submitting eight videos is not enough — the videos need to meet the required creative and quality standard.
You will be expected to take feedback well, make revisions where necessary and improve your output based on direction from the team.
Starting Payment
The role will begin at a £300 monthly retainer, based around the initial KPI of 8 approved videos per month.
There may be opportunities for the role and compensation to grow as output, quality, reliability and responsibilities increase.
What We Are NOT Looking For
Please read this before applying.
We are not looking for traditional product-ad portfolios or generic animated videos.
Applications that mainly contain:
- Product advertisement edits
- Basic motion graphics
- Cartoon-style animation
- Generic animated explainer videos
- Template-based promotional videos
will not be considered.
We specifically want to see examples demonstrating your ability to create realistic, human, UGC-style or social-first video content.
If you already create realistic AI video, that is what we want to see.

- Reliable with deadlines
- Interested in AI video and constantly improving their skills
- Able to produce content that feels current and native to TikTok and Instagram
Most importantly, you need to be able to make genuinely great videos.
