Job Role: Modular Kitchen Designer
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation:
Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, space constraints, and budget.
Provide expert advice on kitchen layout, materials, finishes, and appliances.
Design & Planning:
Create detailed modular kitchen layouts using design software (AutoCAD, 3DS MAX, SKETCHUP, etc.).
Plan for ergonomics, efficient storage, work triangle, ventilation, and lighting.
Customize designs based on client requirements and site conditions.
3D Visualization:
Prepare 3D renderings or walkthroughs to help clients visualize the design.
Revise designs based on client feedback and approvals.
Material & Hardware Selection:
Recommend suitable materials (e.g., HDHMR, plywood, acrylic, laminates) and hardware (hinges, drawers, channels).
Coordinate with vendors or suppliers for samples and pricing.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with production teams, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
Supervise installation work to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
Budgeting & Quotation:
Prepare cost estimates and bills of materials (BOM).
Ensure designs stay within the approved budget.
After-Sales Support:
Handle client concerns post-installation.
Coordinate service calls for adjustments or defects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture (preferred).
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.).
Strong sense of spatial planning and aesthetics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management and multitasking ability.
