- We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Port Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a port facility.
- As a Port Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating port activities to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily port operations and ensure efficient cargo handling.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, customs, and logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage and lead operational staff and supervisors.
- Handle emergency situations and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain communication with port authorities and stakeholders.
- Ensure proper maintenance of port equipment and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in port or terminal operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, maritime studies, or related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Good knowledge of port regulations and safety standards.
- Familiarity with customs and shipping documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Location: Haldia, W.B., India.
Salary: Upto 12 lakh P.A.
