Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Career Specialist to join our Admissions team. As the first point of contact for prospective students, you will handle enquiries, guide candidates through the admission process, qualify leads, and schedule branch visits. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys helping students make informed career decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound enquiries through phone calls, website forms, WhatsApp, and other digital channels.
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on existing leads.
- Understand student profiles, educational background, career goals, and course preferences.
- Qualify leads based on eligibility, interest, and readiness to join.
- Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed walk-ins for the respective branches.
- Schedule appointments and share accurate details regarding branch location, timings, and required documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and complete enquiry coverage.
- Coordinate with branch admission teams for smooth lead handover.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly enquiry, conversion, and walk-in targets.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on calls, qualified leads, and scheduled walk-ins.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Telecalling, Inside Sales, Customer Support, Admissions, or Academic Counselling.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and the regional language.
- Good listening, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
- Basic knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented.
