About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Operations Support Engineer with 3-5 Years of hands-on experience supporting AEM environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AEM administration, production support, deployments, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and web infrastructure. The role involves working closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure the stability, security, and availability of AEM platforms.
What You'll Do

Provide operational support for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5.x)

Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize AEM Author, Publish, and Dispatcher environments.

Perform application deployments, content package installations, configuration changes, and validation activities across environments.

Administer AEM user permissions, groups, ACLs, workflows, replication, maintenance tasks, and repository management.
-
Configure and maintain Apache HTTP Server and Dispatcher modules, including cache management, virtual hosts, rewrite rules, and security configurations.
-
Perform environment health checks, log analysis, incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance.

Support integrations with enterprise authentication systems such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, or IMS.

Monitor platform health using tools such as DataDog, Splunk and other enterprise monitoring solutions.

Troubleshoot performance issues involving AEM, Dispatcher, Apache, JVM, Oak Repository, and CDN layers.

Participate in releases, change management, patching, and environment maintenance activities.

Work closely with development teams to investigate application issues and recommend operational improvements.
What We're Looking For

Hands-on experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5.x).

Strong understanding of AEM architecture including Author, Publish, Dispatcher, Replication Agents, Sling, OSGi, Oak Repository, and CRXDE.

Good understanding of JVM concepts, garbage collection, heap/thread dump analysis, and performance tuning basics.

Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as:

Knowledge of authentication and authorization integrations such as LDAP, SAML, IMS, or Single Sign-On.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.

Experience working with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a production support environment.

Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps

Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.

Familiarity with CDN technologies such as Akamai, Imperva, Cloudflare, or Fastly.

Experience with Adobe Dynamic Media or Assets.

Basic scripting knowledge using Groovy, Bash, or Python for operational automation.

Knowledge of Adobe Guides / DITA is highly desirable.
