Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for Grades 8 and 9 who can inspire students to develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver engaging lessons, foster a love for literature, and prepare students for academic success through innovative teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach grammar, literature, prose, poetry, vocabulary, and writing skills effectively.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, communication, and analytical skills through classroom activities.
- Use technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning.
- Prepare students for examinations and academic assessments.
Student Development
- Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly.
- Provide constructive feedback and remedial support where necessary.
- Foster confidence in reading, writing, public speaking, and presentations.
- Encourage participation in debates, elocution, creative writing, and literary activities.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct periodic tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic performance, and student progress.
- Prepare report cards and progress reports as required by the school.
- Analyze assessment data and implement improvement strategies.
Parent & School Engagement
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to improve educational outcomes.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the school administration.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in secondary school.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong command of English language and literature.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital teaching tools.

Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
