- Developing precise and detailed 3D CAD models for fine jewelry collections.
- Translating hand sketches, concept visuals, and verbal ideas into technical CAD designs.
- Ensuring CAD models meet all manufacturing requirements, including correct stone settings, tolerances, metal weights, and finishing.
- Collaborating with sampling, production, and quality control teams to ensure feasibility and execution of designs.
- Making timely revisions to CAD models based on internal and external feedback.
- Managing and organizing CAD file archives, drawings, and related documentation for easy access and version control.
- Proactively identifying and troubleshooting design or production issues, suggesting improvements where needed.
- Staying informed on evolving CAD tools, techniques, and design trends to contribute to innovation and efficiency.
- Expertise in Rhino, Matrix, or similar 3D modeling software, and a solid understanding of jewelry manufacturing techniques. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and an eye for aesthetics are also essential.
- CPX Machine Controller.
- 3D model troubleshooting, slicing, support creation, and maintaining strict quality control for precision casting.
