About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to oversee the execution and coordination of our social media initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to ensure seamless execution of content plans, timely delivery of campaigns, and effective performance tracking. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between the agency and IISER while driving consistency and efficiency across all social media activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate content gathering by liaising with internal departments, faculty, researchers, and other stakeholders.
- Execute approved social media strategies and content calendars across relevant platforms.
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the agency and IISER, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of requirements.
- Manage project timelines and ensure all social media deliverables are completed as per agreed schedules.
- Review content before publication to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and adherence to communication guidelines.
- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and prepare periodic reports with insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate feedback, approvals, and revisions between stakeholders and the agency.
- Stay updated on social media trends and recommend opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
- Maintain documentation of campaign activities, content calendars, and performance reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content best practices.
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
