Core Responsibilities
Key duties are split between direct sales activities and coordination tasks:
- Client Communication & Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong
relationships with existing and prospective clients, handling inquiries, and providing
exceptional customer service.
- Sales Process Management: Presenting and demonstrating the value of
products/services, negotiating terms, and closing sales deals to meet or exceed targets
and quotas.
- Sales Coordination & Support: Assisting the sales team with various administrative
tasks, such as preparing quotes, contracts, and proposals, and coordinating with other
departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, customer service).
- Order & Data Management: Inputting, managing, and ensuring orders are processed
accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements. Maintaining accurate
records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM systems.
- Reporting & Analysis: Tracking sales performance, preparing reports/forecasts for
management, and analyzing customer data to optimize sales efforts.
- Payment Follow-ups: Coordinating payment collections and ensuring all financial
processes related to sales are handled correctly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A successful candidate for this role typically possesses a blend of sales acumen and strong
organizational abilities:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and
presentation skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel,
Word) and experience with CRM software is often required.
- Interpersonal Abilities: Customer service oriented, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and
able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills to
manage diverse tasks and ensure smooth operations.
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related
field is often preferred, along with 1-2+ years of relevant sales support or inside sales
experience.
