Job Summary
We are seeking skilled ENG Water System Operators to manage and maintain pharmaceutical water systems used in manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), and related utility systems while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pharmaceutical water treatment systems, including PW and WFI plants.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning efficiently.
- Record operating parameters and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Carry out daily system checks and report any abnormalities.
- Assist in preventive maintenance and coordinate with the engineering team during repairs.
- Ensure water quality meets GMP and company specifications.
- Follow SOPs and safety procedures during system operation.
- Support validation, sanitization, and qualification activities as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in utility areas.
- Work closely with Production, QA, QC, and Engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted utility support.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in operating pharmaceutical or industrial water treatment systems.
- Good understanding of Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), RO systems, softeners, and related utilities.
- Knowledge of GMP, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to identify basic equipment issues and assist with troubleshooting.
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment will be preferred.
