The Drayage + OTR Dispatcher is responsible for planning, dispatching, and monitoring container drayage and long-haul truckload shipments across the United States. This role coordinates with drivers, customers, ports, rail terminals, warehouses, and shipping lines to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries while maximizing equipment utilization and minimizing delays and costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for drayage and OTR shipments.
- Coordinate import pickups, export deliveries, empty returns, and rail movements.
- Book and manage port, rail, and warehouse appointments.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers.
- Track containers using TMS, carrier portals, and GPS systems.
- Coordinate with steamship lines, terminals, customs brokers, warehouses, and freight brokers.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, PODs, EIRs, detention, demurrage, and billing information.
- Handle after-hours operational issues when required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
