Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Project Engineer (Civil) to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities at the project site.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of work as per schedule.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs before execution.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Monitor material usage, site resources, and workforce productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Verify measurements, work quantities, and contractor bills.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities, inspections, and approvals.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input to stakeholders.
- Support project planning, cost control, and risk management activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, railway, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with IS codes and construction quality standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
