Laser Experts India LLP is a growing organization specializing in industrial laser machine service, maintenance, repairs, AMC support, spare parts, and consumables. With operations expanding across multiple locations and group entities, we are looking for a responsible and experienced Accounts Manager to independently manage accounting, statutory compliance, legal documentation, payroll support, and financial processes.
Job Summary
We are looking for an Accounts Manager with strong hands-on experience in accounting and statutory compliance who can independently manage regular accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in GST, TDS, PF, PT, payroll, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, statutory filings, legal documentation, and audit coordination. The candidate must be capable of independently handling compliance deadlines and coordinating with the CFO, CA, auditors, banks and government departments, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Handle sales and purchase invoices, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Maintain and reconcile customer, vendor, debtor, and creditor accounts.
- Perform regular bank, cash, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
Statutory Compliance & Filing
- Independently manage and complete GST compliance and filing, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and resolve discrepancies before filing.
- Independently handle TDS deduction, challan payments, and quarterly TDS returns (24Q/26Q).
- Coordinate and ensure timely PF, ESI, and Professional Tax (PT) compliance and payments.
- Support and coordinate Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and related documentation.
- Track statutory due dates and ensure zero missed deadlines or compliance lapses.
- Prepare and coordinate responses to GST, income tax, and other statutory notices with the CA/consultants.
- Maintain proper records of returns, challans, reconciliations, notices, and statutory documents.
Legal & Financial Documentation
- Independently handle and maintain legal, statutory, banking, insurance, and financial documentation.
- Coordinate documentation for bank accounts, loans, credit facilities, renewals, and other financial requirements.
- Support documentation related to property tax, business registrations, statutory matters, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, CA, banks, insurance companies, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure all financial and legal documents are properly organized and readily available when required.
Payroll & Employee Finance
- Handle monthly payroll processing and salary-related accounting.
- Ensure accurate calculation and accounting of statutory deductions.
- Coordinate PF, ESI, PT, and other applicable employee-related compliance.
- Support employee insurance enrolment, renewal, and claim documentation.
- Assist with employee loan and bank-related documentation when required.
Banking & Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and monitor cash and bank balances.
- Coordinate cheque collections, deposits, and payment processing.
- Support opening/closing of bank accounts and related documentation.
- Coordinate with banks for loans, credit facilities, account-related requirements, and documentation.
Multi-Location & Group Accounting
- Provide accounting and compliance support to branch offices and sister/group entities.
- Coordinate with location-level teams for timely submission of accounting data and documents.
- Ensure consistent accounting practices, documentation, and reporting across locations.
- Consolidate financial information and provide accurate reports to the CFO.
MIS, Audit & Team Coordination
- Assist in preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS, and other management reports.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal teams, CA, consultants, and other financial professionals.
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation.
- Supervise and review the work of Accounts Executives/team members where applicable.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of all finance-related activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Hands-on experience independently handling statutory compliance and filings.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and Income Tax compliance.
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals.
- Experience in legal, statutory, banking, insurance, and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
- Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Experience in payroll processing and statutory payroll compliance.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently manage statutory deadlines and compliance calendars.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial and employee information.
- Hindi language proficiency is mandatory – ability to speak and read Hindi.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Candidates with practical experience in statutory compliance, accounting, legal documentation, payroll, and multi-location accounting will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in independently managing statutory filings and compliance activities.
- Confident in handling accounting operations from transaction entry to reconciliation and reporting.
- Capable of independently coordinating legal, banking, insurance, and statutory documentation.
- Comfortable communicating with CA, auditors, banks, consultants, and government/statutory authorities.
- Organized, reliable, deadline-oriented, and highly detail-focused.
- Experienced in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or service organizations is an added advantage.
- Candidates who have handled group companies or multiple branch accounts will be preferred.
