CORE and Global Services (CGS) is a group of legal professionals working and supporting different legal areas such as Compliance, Regulatory Offerings, Ethics, Procurement, Corporate Matters and the Services Areas aligned with the new offerings and technologies such as Strategy & Consulting, Interactive, Technology, Security and Operations.
Ethics & Compliance Role Summary – The objective of the role is to provide comprehensive support to the Global Integrity & Financial Crime team within Ethics & Compliance to review and assess new Ventures and Acquisitions and Joint Ventures for Trade Compliance, AML and Anti-Corruption risks.
Key Responsibilities:

Understanding Ethics & Compliance principles, including the ability to identify, assess, and escalate compliance risks.

Ability to review and analyze contracts, corporate documentation, due diligence materials, and other business records with strong attention to detail.

Ability to handle highly confidential documents and sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Strong business judgment and ability to understand different types of organizations, industries, operating models, and related compliance considerations

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Ventures & Acquisitions, Business, Delivery, and Leadership.

Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working in a global environment.

Develop subject-matter knowledge and proficiency in the concerned support area and act as its POC.

Directly liaison with internal stakeholders on various issues and build credible and effective relationships with onshore counsels and within GLN team.

Support implementation of new initiatives in CORE support area or within Legal/GLN, try to ‘give back’ to GLN/Legal.
Specific Responsibilities aligned to Role
-
Support the Team Lead in managing and delivering services to the global Ethics & Compliance team, in alignment with E&C direction. Assist with Ventures and Acquisitions and Joint Ventures due diligence by reviewing relevant documentation, analyzing corporate and business records, identifying and assessing AML, Trade Compliance and Anti-Corruption risks, and escalating key issues clearly, concisely, and timely to Global Integrity & Financial Crime Leadership, Counsel, or other appropriate stakeholders. Apply strong Ethics & Compliance principles, with an understanding of different organization types, industries, and related risk considerations.

Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across relevant geographies, including E&C, Country Legal, Ventures and Acquisitions, business teams, and integration stakeholders, to support alignment between existing processes and the acquired company’s operating model. Help assess gaps, risks, and practical implementation considerations arising during integration, and escalate issues clearly and timely to the appropriate stakeholders. Promote consistent understanding and application of E&C requirements across cross-functional teams supporting due diligence, acquisition, and integration activities.

Support the Team Lead in the preparation of leadership reports and escalation materials, the organization of key documentation, and the monitoring of integration activities to facilitate timely follow-up, enhance visibility of key issues, and ensure alignment with Ethics & Compliance principles.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Relevant experience in Ethics & Compliance, legal, risk management, internal controls, investigations, due diligence, or a related corporate function, including exposure to risk identification and mitigation, contracts, legal research, and compliance matters.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Copilot

Strong written and verbal English communication skills to follow complex discussions, document processes and decisions, coordinate both verbally and in writing with various senior stakeholders and articulate requests, questions or support required
