Role Overview
- Job Title: Physiotherapist
- Locations: Thane (C U Shah Centre) OR South Mumbai
- Contract: Full-time, renewable two-year contract (includes 6-month probation)
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Off on 2nd and 4th Saturdays)
- Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications, at par with sector standards
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Student Support: Design daily therapy schedules and individualised programs to improve the physical development and functioning of students with Db/MD.
- Environment Adaptation: Modify classroom settings and techniques to ensure students can participate fully in centre activities.
- Integrated Care: Collaborate with the team on Individualised Educational Programmes (IEP) and guide families on carrying out therapy at the centre and at home.
- Equipment Management: Assess the need for appropriate assistive devices and ensure all therapy equipment is properly maintained and safely utilized.
- Outreach & Awareness: Contribute to public awareness through success stories and articles, and participate in training programs to promote the cause of Db/MD.
- Home-Based Intervention: Provide therapeutic support in home settings when required to ensure consistent care.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
- Experience: Ideally 2 years of experience, preferably working with children with disabilities.
- Certification: Valid registration with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and/or the Rehabilitation Council of India.
- Communication: Proficiency in English and Hindi/Marathi (written and spoken).
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online platforms.
- Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to safeguarding policies.

Pay: ₹10,358.91 - ₹40,000.00 per month
