Position Summary
Responsible for supervising and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping services across academic buildings, hostels, common areas and campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations across academic blocks, hostels, offices and common areas.
- Plan and allocate housekeeping staff duties, shift schedules and cleaning routines.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene and quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor usage and inventory of cleaning materials, consumables and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors/contract staff for outsourced housekeeping and pest control services.
- Ensure proper waste segregation, disposal and adherence to environmental practices.
- Train, guide and monitor performance of housekeeping staff and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and QHSE standards across all serviced areas.
- Address housekeeping-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, attendance, inspection and consumption records.
- Support facility audits, event preparations and emergency cleaning requirements.
- Report major gaps, staffing issues or non-compliances to the Facility Manager.
Qualification & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Facility Management or related discipline.
- 4–7 years' relevant experience, preferably in a university, hotel, hospital or large campus housekeeping operation.
- Knowledge of housekeeping systems, hygiene standards and manpower management preferred.

Pay: ₹9,896.27 - ₹20,000.00 per month
