Senior Engineer – QMS
Location: Bawal, Haryana
Experience: 7-8 Years
Industry Preference: Automotive / Auto Components Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements.
Coordinate internal process audits, product audits, and system audits.
Support customer audits and third-party certification audits.
Monitor CAPA, NC closure, and effectiveness verification.
Prepare and maintain QMS documentation, SOPs, procedures, and quality records.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools.
Conduct employee awareness and QMS training programs.
Monitor quality KPIs and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality standards.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
Good understanding of 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis (8D, Why-Why).
Experience in handling customer and certification audits.
Strong documentation and analytical skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or a related discipline.
Preferred Background
Candidates from the Automotive/Auto Components industry will be preferred.
