Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment, specifically focusing on skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, and mini-excavators.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure machine availability, including engine services, filter changes, and hydraulic system checks.
- Field Service & Repairs: Travel to customer sites to provide on-site diagnostics, repairs, and support (field service).
- Component Overhauls: Perform engine, transmission, hydraulic pump, and final drive repairs or overhauls.
- Technical Documentation: Utilize service manuals, diagnostic software, and tablet apps to enter job information, track hours, and generate service reports.
- Customer Support: Build customer trust by explaining technical issues, providing recommendations for machine usage, and communicating the repair process.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict safety protocols and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Diploma or ITI in Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Freshers can also apply
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic circuits, and powertrain systems.
- Diagnostic Proficiency: Experienced in using electronic diagnostic tools and reading technical manuals/schematics.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to travel to sites.
