Job Summary
A Field Sales Executive in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) domain is responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining relationships with retailers/distributors, expanding market presence, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory. The role is field-based with regular visits to markets, retail outlets, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Market Coverage
- Promote and sell FMCG products (e.g., food, beverage, personal care, household goods) to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets as assigned by management.
2. Territory & Customer Management
- Plan and execute territory visit plans to maximize sales coverage.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other trade partners to enhance product reach.
- Identify new customers and market opportunities within the territory.
3. Product Display & Merchandising
- Ensure proper product availability, stock levels, and visibility at retail counters and shelves.
- Implement merchandising guidelines and promotional activities in stores.
4. Negotiation & Order Handling
- Negotiate prices and terms with customers.
- Collect orders, coordinate with logistics/operations for timely delivery, and ensure payment follow-ups.
5. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Provide feedback and insights to management on market trends and customer needs.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and visits.

Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (Business, Marketing, or related preferred).
- Experience: 2–6 years of experience in field sales, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Technical: Basic knowledge of MS Office, reporting tools, and CRM systems is an advantage.
- Other: Valid two-wheeler driving licence (preferred in many field roles).
Work Environment
- Field-based role requiring regular travel within the assigned territory.
- Interactions with retailers, distributors, and internal teams (sales, marketing, logistics).
- May include incentives/commissions based on performance.

Fixed Salary - 20K to 25K with Mobile + Travel Expenses
