Full job description

Role Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester with expertise in the finance domain, specifically in SWIFT testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SWIFT message types, financial transactions, and testing methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our financial systems.

Responsibilities:

Test Development:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SWIFT applications and related financial systems.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of SWIFT messaging systems.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
Test Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
Execute automated test cases and analyse results to ensure software quality.
Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate new features and bug fixes.
Ensure all software releases meet the highest quality standards by performing thorough testing.
Documentation:
Document test cases, test results, and any defects identified during testing.
Maintain detailed and organized test documentation and reports for reference.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: • Proficiency in SWIFT messages and web application testing.

Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Experience:
5+ years of experience in test automation, specifically using Selenium and Python.
Experience with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance).

• Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with additional automation tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

Prerequisites:

Qualification - BE/B Tech Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a test automation engineer.

Base Location: Noida, but flexible to travel.
