Position: Accountant

Reports To: Finance Manager / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary

KlickEdu is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will support financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, payroll, and other accounting functions while contributing to the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Support management with financial analysis and reports for decision-making.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory compliance.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud-based accounting systems.
Familiarity with educational institution or EdTech financial processes.
Experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
Knowledge of ERP systems and automation tools.

Accuracy of financial records.
Timely completion of month-end and year-end closing.
Compliance with statutory filing deadlines.
Efficient management of receivables and payables.
Accuracy of payroll processing.
