Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 1+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, SQL, and Jira, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The candidate should be comfortable testing web applications, mobile applications, landing pages, and internal tools. Experience in a startup or product-based environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, landing pages, and internal tools.
- Understand requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, UI, cross-browser, responsive, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and severity details using Jira.
- Perform API testing and validate API functionality and responses using tools such as Postman.
- Use basic SQL queries for database validation and data verification.
- Retest bug fixes and collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor the Jira dashboard regularly and ensure assigned testing tasks are completed within timelines.
- Maintain proper testing documentation and contribute to test summary reports.
- Attend client meetings whenever required and communicate testing-related updates clearly.
- Research and learn new tools and technologies,while taking up additional responsibilities when required.
- Perform testing across various business applications, including but not limited to multiple CRM systems, ERP platforms, and other enterprise applications, ensuring seamless functionality and system quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 1+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Jira and bug-tracking workflows.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to learn independently.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for research and productivity.
- Experience working in a startup or product-based environment.
- Basic exposure to Playwright or other automation tools.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹460,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hyderabad, Telangana (Hyderabad, Hyderabad District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
