As a core member of our Express Solutions BPMS Shared Platform DevOps team, you will drive high-impact projects designed to streamline software delivery, optimize operational efficiency, and fortify system reliability. This hybrid role is for a professional proficient in both strategic systems operational support, hands-on IBM webMethods systems administration, and hands-on IBM webMethods BPM Development. Key Responsibilities Include:
- DevOps & Release Management:
- Develop scripts/tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work
- Author technical documentation and prepare robust development packages to facilitate seamless, secure, and compliant transitions into the Production environment.
- Platform & Environment Management:
- Manage & Support IBM webMethods: Manage and provide operational support for IBM webMethods components, including Integration Server, My webMethods Server, BPM Process Engine, Universal Messaging, Task Engine
- Ensure environment consistency, scalability, and resilience
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and environment provisioning
- Operational Support:
- Provide L2/L3 production support for BPM applications and platform issues
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
- Participate in on-call support rotation

Required Skills and Experience
General
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or IBM webMethods developer with hands-on IBM webMethods system administration, with a strong background in DevOps methodologies.
Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
- Specialized Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in IBM webMethods BPM and advanced knowledge of Oracle database, SQL, XML, shell scripts, and JSON.
Certification in DevOps, Cloud, or webMethods is a plus
- Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with IBM webMethods, shell scripting, Oracle Database and a proven track record in systems administration.
- Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution and ability to engage non-technical audiences and senior leaders.
- Shift Requirement: Able to work on shifts.

- Ensure timely resolution of incidents related to scope, resources, and delivery.
Team Leadership
- Able to lead and motivate team members to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Facilitate communication across internal teams, external partners, and business stakeholders on incidents/problems resolutions.
- Identify dependencies, provide status updates, and highlight potential roadblocks.
Incident Management
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare operational documentation, standard operational procedures, and other required deliverables with accuracy and clarity.
Continuous Improvement
- Capture and action lessons learnt, and best practices identified through periodic retrospective sessions.
